This incredible denim jacket dates back to the 80s, and it's been personalized with a beautiful customized back panel, that celebrates the seminal jam band, the Grateful Dead. This jean jacket was made by Wrangler, and it has the Wrangler logo stitched onto the front. It features four front pockets, including two slanted hand pockets and two button flapped chest pockets. The jacket also includes button front closures, and it's been stylishly distressed for a timeless rock and roll look.
The jacket's back panel has been meticulously hand painted to recreate the cover art from the 1975 studio album, Blues for Allah. Throughout their tenure, the Grateful Dead have been known for featuring some of the most iconic artwork in rock and roll history. The band was known for employing some of the most influential psychedelic artists of the 20th century, most notably Alton Kelley and Stanley Mouse. However, Blues for Allah utilized a painting by Philip Garris, which granted the Award of Merit by the Society of Illustrators. This jacket not only features a stunning recreation of the image, but it also includes a rendering of the Dead's famous logo, the Steal Your Face Skull.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small. The outer sleeve from the shoulder to the cuff measures 23.5 inches. There's purposeful wear throughout, see pics.
