This sweet shirt is a vintage concert tee from Little Steven's 1984 Tour. Steven Van Zandt is perhaps best known as one of the celebrated members of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, however this tour was designed to promote Little Steven's solo album, Voice of America, which he recorded with his own backing band, the Disciples of Soul. Voice of America was released just four weeks before the debut of Springsteen's smash hit Born in the USA, and because of this Van Zandt was absent for the majority of the Born in the USA Tour. However he did appear as a special guest for a few of the dates.
Voice of America was noted for its overtly political lyrics. It was during this period that Van Zandt became concerned about the American foreign policy of the Regan Era. The album's lead single became "Solidarity", which was a track centered around finding international common ground.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small.
