This awesome double sided shirt promotes the thrash metal band Rigor Mortis, and it features the spectacularly gnarly skull graphic that used for the cover of their eponymous debut album. The album was released by Capitol Records in 1988, a year after the band landed a contract with the label. Rigor Mortis was founded by Harden Harrison, future Gwar member Casey Orr (also known as Beefcake the Mighty), and Mike Scaccia, who would later go on to play with Ministry. In 1986, they were joined by Bruce Corbitt on lead vocals, and the foursome became one of the pioneering thrash bands of Texas' underground metal scene.

The back of this tee reads, "don't skimp on the meat", which is a quote from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. Horror movies proved to be a major source of lyrical inspiration for the band, and the Texas Chainsaw franchise helped spawn a delightfully unique piece of promotional merch that was given out at their record release party. Attendees could take home a can of Rigor Mortis Chainsaw Chili, which came with a special commemorative label that declared the group "the Texas Chainsaw Massacre of metal bands".

The tag says extra large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult large
