This awesome concert tee is for the gothic rock icons, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and it comes from the promotional tour for their album Peepshow. Released in 1988, Peepshow was the band's ninth studio album, although it was their first one as a quintet consisting of Siouxsie Sioux, Steven Severin, Martin McCarrick, Jon Klein, and Budgie on the drums. Peepshow was praised for its unique instrumentation, which featured non-traditional rock instruments like the cello and the accordion. The album's lead single was the popular hit "Peek-a-Boo", which became the band's first song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. It was followed by "The Killing Jar", which made it to the No. 2 spot on the US Modern Rock Tracks chart.
Despite being one of the most successful alternative groups of the 80s, and pioneers of the emerging goth scene, the London-based band had little success in the US prior to the release of Peepshow. They scored another US hit it 1991 with the single "Kiss Them for Me", which became the lead single of their next album, Superstition. While touring in support of Superstition, Siouxsies and the Banshees were invited to become the second headliners of the inaugural Lollapalooza tour.
