This cool vintage tee pays tribute to the Scottish indie band, Belle and Sebastian. The group emerged out of Glasgow, where it was formed by Stuart Murdoch and Stuart David. The pair were both enrolled in the Beatbox program at Stow College, which was designed to allow opportunities for unemployed musicians to gain experience recording music. With the help of Stow's Music Business course and their in-house record label, Electric Honey, they were able to record the band's debut album, Tigermilk.
It only took a few months for Tigermilk to attract the attention of interested record labels, and the band was signed to Jeepster Records in August of 1996. Through Jeepster, Belle and Sebastian released their next four albums, which included If You're Feeling Sinister, The Boy with the Arab Strap, Fold Your Hands Child You Walk LIke a Peasant, and Storytelling, the last of which served as the score to the Todd Solondz film of the same name.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There is a small hole on the front, see pics.
