This sweet t-shirt celebrates the 1999 edition of the Deck the Hall Ball. This annual event was a winter holiday-themed concert presented by the Seattle radio station 107.7 The End, which was broadcast on KNDD FM. The concert series began in 1992, where it was staged along the steps of the Seattle Art Museum. For the 1999 edition, artists were invited to play at KeyArena in the Seattle Center, and the lineup consisted of Bush, Beck, Foo Fighters, Filter, Staind, and 311.

All of the participating artist had put out new albums in the months leading up to the concert. These recent releases included The Science of Things by Bush, Midnite Vultures by Beck, Title of Record by Filter, and the Grammy Award-winning There Is Nothing Left to Lose by Foo Fighters. It also included Staind's first album released through a professional label, a feat that they achieved with the help of Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst.
