This awesome double-sided shirt is for the band Meat Puppets, and it was made in the mid 90s, around the time that the group released their eighth studio album, Too High to Die. This 1994 release was produced by Paul Leary of Butthole Surfer, and it's best remembered for featuring the popular single "Backwater", but it also included the songs "We Don't Exist" and a hidden-track update of "Lake of Fire".

Too High to Die was the band's second release through a major label, and it became their first ever gold record. While the success of the album was largely thanks to the popularity of "Backwater", sales were also boosted thanks to Nirvana. Frontman, Kurt Cobain had become a fan of Meat Puppets, back when he saw them open for Black Flag in the 80s. This led him to invite Curt and Cris Kirkwood to perform with him during Nirvana's famous MTV Unplugged session. When the resulting live album MTV Unplugged in New York became a smash hit, it brought new attention to Meat Puppets and their latest release. The band also promoted Too High to Die with extensive touring, opening for groups like Blind Melon, Soul Asylum, and Stone Temple Pilots.

Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. There's a hole on the front and repairs on the back graphic, see pics.
