This awesome shirt is for the band Primus from their Liquid Pig Tour. This tour was launched in the early 90s to promote the band's latest release, the 1993 album Pork Soda. According to lead singer Les Claypool, the title was intended to be a nod to the band's niche appeal, and he described the group as "an acquired taste, like a meat-flavored soda". Despite these claims, the album breached the top ten of the Billboard 200 and would eventually achieve platinum status.
Pork Soda featured the singles "DMV", "Mr. Krinkle", and one of their most popular tracks, "My Name Is Mud". This shirt features the same artwork that was used for the album's cover, which included a sculpture created by Lance "Link" Montoya. As a teenager, Montoya had been coworkers with Claypool, and the artist's offbeat style wound up being used for several Primus albums, including Frizzle Fry, Sailing the Seas of Cheese, and Tale from the Punchbowl.
