This amazing vintage bomber jacket pays tribute to the iconic hip hop music collective known as Rhyme Syndicate. The group was first formed in 1987 by one of the best known West Coast hip hop artists of all time, Ice-T. The rapper had the idea to connect both the East and West Coast rap scenes, and thus he created Rhyme Syndicate and the label Rhyme Syndicate Records. The collective was active into the early 90s and it featured a variety of members, including Donald D, Everlast, Lord Finesse, Toddy Tee, DJ Aladdin, Hen-Gee, Divine Styler, Randy Mac, Nat the Cat, Tim Story, WC, DJ Evil E, Anthony Jimms, Mixmaster Quick, Bango, Afrika Islam, and Bronx Style Bob, among several others.

This jacket was made by Hartwell and it features a shiny satin shell and a quilted interior. It has snap up closures and embroidered details on the chest, back, and sleeve. The jacket is actually designed to resembled the popular satin bomber jackets that were made by Starter in the 90s. Starter was a paragon of 90s sportswear with their licensed NFL and NBA jackets, and they were especially popular within the hip hop scene of the decade. Raiders gear in particular became a staple of urban fashion after the team was moved to Los Angeles in 1982. This jacket takes inspiration from the Raiders logo, and reinterprets it into a symbol for Rhyme Syndicate.

Fits like a modern unisex adult extra large. There's some wear on the front and sleeve, and a busted side seam, see pics.
