This awesome long sleeved band tee is for the New York hardcore band Supertouch. The group was formed in the late 80s, and by the 1990s, when this shirt was made, they were starting to gain significant attention in the NYHC scene. The band was created out of the group Death Before Dishonor, which featured Mark Ryan and future members of Judge, Jimmy Yu and Mike Ferraro. Ryan went on to create Supertouch, and the band put out their deput EP in 1989 with Jon Biviano on guitar, Joe Graziano on bass, and Andy Guida on the drums. The cover art for the EP, titled What Did We Learn, was designed by Mike McGrane, and it featured the same logo pictured on this tee.
Supertouch derived their name from a Bad Brains song first recorded on the band's Reachout International Records cassette. The group only released one studio album, The Earth is Flat in 1990, but they were known for being one of the many notable NYHC bands to record with the label Revelation Records.
