This awesome concert tee was made for The Cure's 1992 tour, promoting their ninth studio album Wish. The front graphic is the same as the illustration that was used as the cover art for their single "High" off the Wish album. Wish saw the band experimenting with their style by blending their classic goth rock sound with a newer, lighter alternative rock vibe. The album received a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album in 1993. Some notable tracks on from the album were "Friday I'm in Love" and "A Letter to Elise". Core band members during this era were Robert Smith, Perry Bamonte, Simon Gallup, Port Thompson and Boris Williams.
With roots dating back to 1978, The Cure found their place in the British new wave and post-punk movements. As the gothic rock scene started to take shape, the band's dark and tormented aesthetic perfectly aligned with the genre. To date, they have produced 13 studio albums which have sold more than 30 million copies globally. The Cure was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019 and they continue to be celebrated through their unforgettable music and a dedicated fan base.
