This sweet band tee is for the Southern California punk group, Bad Religion. Sporting long sleeves and some awesome flame graphics, this shirt was made around the turn of the century, in honor of the band's eleventh studio album The New America. This was the band's final album of their four-album contract with Atlantic Records, and once it was wrapped the group happily returned to Epitaph Records and reunited with their founding guitarist, Brett Gurewitz. Although Gurewitz was not yet an official member of the band again, he did contribute to The New America, as he helped Greg Graffin co-write the track "Believe It".
Since the group's inception, Bad Religion has been known for the social commentary present throughout their lyrics. They were considered a seminal part of the punk rock revival of the 1990s, and it was during this decade that they released some of their most popular albums, including Recipe for Hate and Stranger than Fiction. Bad Religion were also a major inspiration behind many of the pop punk and skate punk bands of the late 90s and early 2000s. To promote The New America, the band embarked on an arena tour across the US, in which they opened for Blink-182.
Fits like a modern unisex adult large. There's a small spot on the front, hole on the sleeve, and some wear along the back of the bottom hem, see pics.
