This sweet horizontal striped tee is a classic piece of 70s surf wear from the brand Hang Ten. In addition to its multi-colored stripes, this tee features the Hang Ten bare feet logo embroidered on the chest. Both the brand and its logo were inspired by the surf move hanging ten, which requires a surfer to dangle all ten of their toes off the edge of their board. Hang Ten is one of the many surf apparel brands that emerged out of California during the 60s and 70s. The company was founded by Doris Moore and Duke Boyd, the latter of whom also went on to create Golden Breed.
