This awesome raglan sweatshirt features the world's greatest detective, Batman. This beloved DC Comics hero was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger back in the 30s, and since then he has become one of DC's most celebrated characters. Batman was one of many characters launched after the success of the Superman comics, but Batman's design also drew inspiration from pulp fiction protagonists like The Shadow.

This sweatshirt was made in the 80s, a decade that was marked by edgy yet iconic storylines for the character. During the 80s, Batman starred in comics that were much grittier and darker than past publications, such as Batman: Year One and Batman: The Killing Joke. It was also around this time that the influential story, "A Death in the Family" was published.
