This cool vintage tee has a horizontal striped design with the words "Cal 500" on the front. The gold and blue tones of this tee are reminiscent of the colors used by the University of California system, but this shirt might have actually been made to promote a former IndyCar race called the California 500. Originally sanctioned by the USAC and later CART, the Cal 500 used to be a 500 mile race held at the Ontario Motor Speedway. The final edition of the event was staged in August of 1980, suggesting that this shirt could have been designed to promote the final race.

The tag says small but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult extra small. This shirt has little stretch, please double check measurements.
