This amazing double-sided concert shirt was made to celebrate Deep Purple's 1985 Tour promoting their album Perfect Strangers. The shirt features the Deep Purple logo and a list of the band members on the back, which included Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon  Lord, and Ian Paice. This grouping of the band was considered the reformed "Mark II" line up as it featured members from the early 70s, and this tour was particularly notable since it came after eight years of inactivity from the band. This lineup produced two albums, the other being The House of Blue Light, which was also promoted with its own world tour.

The Perfect Strangers Tour was a huge financial success that managed to out-gross every other musical act in 1985, except for Bruce Springsteen. The tour was actually so popular that the band wound up booking many additional dates for their stint in the US. While the album itself received mixed reviews, it seemed obvious that fans were just grateful to see the return of the band and Perfect Strangers wound up becoming the group's second album to reach platinum status in the US.

Deep Purple's career dates all the way back to 1968, and while their lineup and sound has changed extensively over time, they are considered pioneers among the genres of heavy metal and hard rock.
