Located in the Kona Inn Shopping Center in Kailua-Kona, Club 53 was a local sports bar named after the Major League Baseball player Don Drysdale and his number 53. Drysdale spent his entire MLB career with the Dodgers, and he remained with the team during their move from Brooklyn to Los Angeles.
