Founded in 1984 by Jimmy Ganzer and Sepp Donahower, Jimmy'z was an apparel brand that became known for their signature E-Z-In, E-Z-Out velcro shorts. Ganzer was a California surfer who saw a need for shorts that could stay in place without needing a belt buckle or button. The idea was to provide comfort for surfers paddling on their boards, or skaters who needed to frequently bend down to grab their's.
