This sweet 90s tee celebrates the professional baseball team the New York Mets. The Mets were formed in 1962 to fill the void left by the departure of two former New York teams, The Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Giants. Because of this, the Mets' team colors are a combination of the Dodgers' blue and Giants' orange. At the time this shirt was made, the Mets played their home games at Shea Stadium in Queens.
