This sweet band shirt celebrates Rush and their 1993 album Counterparts. This shirt features the same artwork that was used for the cover of the album's single "Stick It Out", and the image depicts a tortoise and a hare. According to album designer Hugh Syme, he and Neal Peart chose to focus the artwork on dualities, such as "yin and yang, salt and pepper, tortoise and hare".  "Stick It Out" debuted at the top of the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart, while Counterparts managed to peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

Rush is a Canadian band that first formed in 1968, and they reached significant commercial success with songs like "Tom Sawyer" and "Closer to the Heart". Counterparts wound up being their second to last album before the group went on a four-year hiatus, but they returned to the studio in 2001 and released Vapor Trails the following year.
