This awesome tee promotes the 1990 spy thriller The Hunt for Red October, which was adapted from the Tom Clancy novel of the same name. This was the first movie to feature Clancy's character Jack Ryan, and in this instance he was portrayed by Alec Baldwin. The movie's star-studded cast also included Scott Glenn, Sam Neill, James Earl Jones, and finally Sean Connery in the role of Captain 1st rank Marko Ramius, the commanding officer of the Soviet submarine, Red October.

The Hunt for Red October was a critical and commercial hit, and it became one of the highest-grossing films of the year at the domestic box office. This tee features the tag line "the hunt is on", and promotional artwork designed by Tony Seiniger, the same man responsible for the iconic Jaws theatrical poster.
