This awesome double-sided tee is for the R&B vocal group En Vogue and the shirt commemorates the group's second studio album titled Funky Divas. This was their follow up to their Grammy Award-nominated debut Born to Sing, and the album incorporated a mix of contemporary R&B, new jack swing, and hip hop elements while also drawing inspiration from classic soul, doo-wop, and blues. The album earned the group a second Grammy Nomination as well as the Sammy Davis Jr. Award for Entertainer of the Year at the 1993 Soul Train Music Awards. With singles like "My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)", "Free Your Mind", "Give It Up, Turn It Loose", "Love Don't Love You", and a cover of the Aretha Franklin classic "Giving Him Something He Can Feel", the album reached triple platinum status in the US, making it the group's highest selling album.

En Vogue was first formed in 1989 and it consisted of Terry Ellis, Dawn Robinson, Cindy Herron, and Maxine Jones. The group was conceived by the songwriting duo Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy who wanted to make a modern girl group similar to the female bands that dominated the music scene of the 50s and 60s. They auditioned approximately 3,000 women in order to find the right members, and many people cite En Vogue as paving the way for other successful girl groups like TLC and Destiny's Child.
