This sweet vintage ringer looks to be a souvenir from the now defunct theme park, Opryland USA in Nashville, Tennessee. This shirt showcases a local Nashville icon, Shotgun Red. This delightful character used to be the co-host of the talk show Nashville Now, which aired on TNN in the 80s and 90s. Shotgun Red was a beloved puppet portrayed by the musician and comedian Steve Hall, who originally purchased the puppet at a hobby shop in Minnesota back in 1980.
