This classic tour tee has been loved on hard over the years, rendering it beautifully worn, faded, and effortlessly rock n roll. It's an original keepsake from Led Zeppelin's 11th and final North American tour in 1977, the United States of America Tour. While the imagery is hard to make out, it's a naked figure with wings alongside the band's name logo. This is a design that is often replicated and sold in retail stores- but this particular shirt is an original from the 1970s.

Led Zeppelin dates back to 1968 and consisted of rock n roll legends Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham. Their musical style covered hard rock, psychedelia, blues, and metal. They are the third best selling group in the US, and are considered one of the most successful, innovative, and influential rock groups in history.

The band's 1977 United States of America Tour went from April to July; it was originally supposed to stretch into August, but it was cancelled after the death of Robert Plant's son. Their April 30th concert at the Pontiac Silverdome broke the record for attendance for a solo indoor attraction, which was previously held by The Who. The tour ran into several problems backstage, beforehand, and with fans at the shows, but it was ultimately considered a huge financial success.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small. Distressed, very faded black, several holes, spots on the front, see pics. This shirt was originally black but faded to a gray color.
