This double-sided band shirt is for U2 from their 1984 album The Unforgettable Fire. The band was looking to explore a different sound than the harder-hitting rock style of their previous album War. To do this, they employed producers Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois to help them explore a more ambient sound. The title The Unforgettable Fire was derived from an art exhibit centered around the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. The album featured the singles "Pride (In the Name of Love)" and the title track "The Unforgettable Fire".
A promotional tour for the album was launched following its release. It started in Australia then moved to Europe and North America. They circled back to Europe again for the end of the tour and also played the iconic Live Aid show in 1985 at Wembley Stadium. This helped to skyrocket the band to mainstream popularity.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small.
