This cool, tie-dyed concert tee was made for a promotional tour from the band, Scorpions, which was launched in support of their eleventh studio album, Crazy World. Titled the Tease Me Please Me Tour, after the album's debut single, this tour lasted from 1990 into 1991. Crazy World was released in November of 1990, and it went on to become the band's second best-selling album in the US, surpassed only by their 1984 record, Love At First Sting.
Crazy World is often remembered for the song "Wind of Change" which became a worldwide hit. The song was released just after the failed coup that would eventually lead to the end of the Soviet Union, and it is often associated with the Revolutions of 1989 and the Fall of the Berlin Wall. With around 14 million copies sold, "Wind of Change" is one of the best-selling singles of all time, and it helped to make Crazy World a massive commercial success.
Fits like a modern unisex adult over-sized medium. This shirt is deadstock, unworn. There are some light spots on the front, see pics.
