This sweet vintage sweatshirt has double sided graphics that show off a bold illustration of a Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, which was a fighter-bomber used by the Allied powers during World War II. During the war, the aircraft was one of the most-produced American fighters, and it was known to be often decorated with a shark mouth logo. The graphics also feature the word "Bigtoe" written subtly on the bomb being carried by the Warhawk. This could be the signature of the surf artist Bigtoe aka Tom Laura. Having been raised on the art of Ed Roth and Mad Magazine, Laura used to design for surf apparel companies like Ocean Pacific and Maui and Sons.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small. The neck has been cut and there are some small holes, see pics.
