This sweet college sweatshirt was made in anticipation of the 1986 Bluebonnet Bowl, which pitted the Baylor Bears of Baylor University against the Colorado Buffaloes of the University of Colorado. This was the Bears' fourth bowl game of the decade, and they entered into the game tied for second in the Southwest Conference. Meanwhile the Buffaloes were also ranked at number two for the Big Eight Conference, and they were excited to make their first Bluebonnet Bowl appearance in over ten years. In the end, the Bears were victorious and the MVP award was granted to Ray Berry, who made twelve tackles for the team.
