This sweet shirt celebrates a little German themed restaurant called Das Gasthaus. Owned by Marvin Timberlake, Das Gasthaus was one of the area's first sidewalk cafes, and it proved to be a popular local spot in the late 60s and 70s. Situated just outside of Occidental Square in the Pioneer Square district, the restaurant's daily menu used to be written on a simple paper bag, and they were known particularly for their delicious charcuterie boards.
