This awesome football style jersey reps the Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company, and it features the number 12 in honor of their 12 oz cans and 12 pack cases. The history of Schlitz Brewing can be traced all the way back to 1849 Milwaukee, when the brewery was owned by a man named August Krug. Schlitz initially worked as the brewery's bookkeeper, before he took over management following Krug's death.
Over the next few centuries, Schlitz saw both success and decline, and they were able to claim the title of the largest beer producer in the US at several points. However, the company suffered quite a bit after their brewing process was changed during the 1970s. While their aim was to meet high demands while also cutting costs, they instead wound up having to recall 10 million bottles. It actually wasn't until after the company was purchased by Pabst, that they were able to go back to their classic 1960s formula.
Fits like a modern unisex adult oversized small. There are some spots on the right sleeve when wearing, see pics.
