Alongside his brother Roy, Walt Disney first launched his production company back in the 1920s, and from there it eventually grew into one of the most influential entertainment conglomerates in the world. During the 70s, the company appointed their first CEO outside of the Disney family. They also produced a number of live action films alongside the animated features they'd become known for. Some of these films included Herbie Rides Again, Escape to Witch Mountain, and Freaky Friday.
