This sweet tourist tee is a keepsake from the popular Jersey Shore destination, Wildwood. The tee features a graphic of a sunset and is very soft and comfortable. Located in southern New Jersey, Wildwood was named for the abundance of wild flowers native to the area. Wildwood is a city in New Jersey but the phrase "Wildwoods" is used to refer to four distinct communities: the city, Wildwood Crest, West Wildwood, and North Wildwood. The Wildwoods are so popular among tourists for several reasons, one of which being that it's one of the few areas in New Jersey that offer free beach access. The city of Wildwood is also known for its bustling boardwalk and amusement park, Morey's Pier.
Wildwood has a rich history rooted in early rock and roll, even going so far as to claim the title of "the birthplace of rock and roll." In 1954, Bill Haley & His Comets first performed their song "Rock Around the Clock" in Wildwood, which many credit as the first rock and roll record. Wildwood also has the largest concentration of Doo-Wop era, or mid-century commercial, architecture in the country.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small. Very soft.
