This awesome vintage concert tee is for the English rock band The Police, and it commemorates the group's 1980 tour of the US. 1980 was the year the band released their third studio album titled Zenyatta Mondatta. The album became one of four consecutive UK number one hits for the band, and it also peaked at the number five spot in the United States. Zenyatta Mondatta won two Grammy Awards in 1982, one of which was for the popular single "Don't Stand So Close to Me".

After the release of Zenyatta Mondatta, the Police only continued to garner more and more success. Their next album, Ghost in the Machine, featured another popular hit, "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic", and after that they released their best-selling record, Synchronicity. By that point, Rolling Stone was calling the group "possibly the biggest band in the world", although they disbanded shortly afterwords, as the former members went on to explore other projects.
