This cool striped tee is a piece of vintage surfwear from the 70s. It was made by the iconic brand Hang Ten, which is famous for its embroidered bare feet logo. Both the logo the brand name were inspired by the classic surf trick of hanging ten, where surfers challenge themselves to balance with all ten of their toes hanging over the edge of the board.
Hang Ten was the creation of Duke Boyd and Doris Boeck, who partnered together to design a pair of boardshorts geared specifically towards surfers. It wasn't long before surfers were rocking Hang Ten all along the California coast. Their reputation continued to grow throughout the 60s, and by the 70s the brand had expanded to include, women's and children's apparel as well.
Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. There's a hole in the right underarm when wearing, see pics.
