This awesome vintage concert tee is for the band Great White and their Highway Hunter Tour from the late 80s. Great White was one of the many bands to emerge out of the Los Angeles heavy metal scene in the 80s. This shirt is from their most successful era, when they reached mainstream popularity thanks to their platinum selling albums Once Bitten and ...Twice Shy, which were named after their biggest hit, a cover of the Ian Hunter song "Once Bitten, Twice Shy". The music video for the track, along with several of their other songs, received significant airplay from MTV, and it notably featured the model Bobbi Brown, who was famous for also appearing in Warrant's video for "Cherry Pie". This shirt highlights another song off the album ...Twice Shy, "Mista Bone", which was another popular radio hit for the band.

Following the release of ...Twice Shy, Great White embarked on a successful stadium tour, where they played alongside other popular rock and roll acts like Bon Jovi, Ratt, Tesla, and Kix. The group was even invited to open for the Godfather of Shock Rock himself, Alice Cooper, on his Trash tour. Great White continued touring into the early 90s, and even got to play their first show in Japan, before heading back to the States to appear at the World Series of Rock festival with Whitesnake, Bad English, and Skid Row.
