This sweet double-sided concert shirt is a keepsake from the 1982 tour from the Police. This tour helped promote the band's fifth studio album, Ghost in the Machine. By this point in their career, the Police had become international super stars. Ghost in the Machine topped the UK charts, and it was only barred from the top of the Billboard 200 by the Rolling Stones' Tattoo You. The album spawned several successful singles including "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic", "Invisible Sun", and "Spirits in the Material World".

Ghost in the Machine also ushered in several changes for the band. The album was the first time that the band employed a heavy use of horns and keyboards. It also saw them switch producers from Nigel Gray to Hugh Padgham. The Police would release one more smash hit album after this, Synchronicity in 1983, which contained their signature hit "Every Breath You Take". By that point, the Guardian described the Police as the "biggest band in the world", although they broke up not long after.
