This awesome tee celebrates the 1992 sports comedy Ladybugs, which starred the iconic comedian Rodney Dangerfield. By this point in time, the comedian had become a household name. Dangerfield's acting career had taken off in the 80s, after he appeared in the movie Caddyshack alongside Chevy Chase and Bill Murray. Dangerfield's role in the film was initially much smaller than the final cut, but he proved to be a natural improviser who stole the show.

Ladybugs was directed by Sidney J. Furie, who had gained recognition for much more dramatic films like the horror movie The Entity, and the Vietnam War film The Boys in Company C. This made it interesting to see Furie venture into the realm of comedy, as Ladybugs centered around a girl's soccer team. Although the movie was panned by critics, many fans of Dangerfield still found his performance as the team's coach quite enjoyable.
