This awesome double-sided tour shirt was made for the wildly talented, Sir Elton John. This shirt commemorates a world tour that lasted from 1986 to 1987, which was launched to promote the musician's twelfth studio album, Leather Jackets. The album wound up being a critical and commercial flop compared to John's past releases. In fact Leather Jackets marked John's first record to not produce any top 40 hits since Tumbleweed Connection in 1970. Despite this, John actually released his highest-charting single of the decade the same year that Leather Jackets debuted. It was a collaboration involving Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight, and Stevie Wonder, which was titled "That's What Friends Are For".

The underwhelming performance of Leather Jackets didn't do much to mar Elton John's status as a legendary musician. John had dominated the 1970s with classic hits like "Rocket Man", "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road", "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting", and "Your Song". He also later extended his musical prowess into the realm of theater, and began composing for musicals like The Lion King and Aida in the 1990s.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt comes with a ticket from the concert it was purchased at.
