This awesome tee is for the Los Angeles based band Faster Pussycat, and it commemorates their Itch You Can't Scratch Tour from 1987. The group emerged out of California's thriving glam metal scene in the 80s, and they took inspiration for their name from the cult film Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! Amidst the rise of the heavy metal trend, the band was signed to Elektra Records, and they released their self-titled debut album in 1987. The album managed to reach No. 97 on the Billboard chart, and the group gained reasonable attention thanks to the music videos for the songs "Bathroom Wall" and "Don't Change That Song".
The group's next album went on to be their most successful. Wake Me When It's Over was released in 1990, and sales were boosted by the popularity of the hit single "House of Pain". They also released another popular single that same year, which was cover of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain".
The tag says large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There is a small hole on the back near the bottom, see pics.
