This awesome tee is from the alternative rock band R.E.M. and their 1984 Little America tour. R.E.M. is considered one of the first alt rock bands and they've heavily influenced the direction of the genre. Founding members Bill Berry, Peter Buck, Mike Mills, and Michael Stipe were students at the University of Georgia when they met and started playing together. The band reached mainstream popularity with their 1991 album Out of Time which included the single "Losing My Religion", their highest charting song of all time.

The Little America tour was in support of their album Reckoning, which included a track titled "Little America" as well as hits like "Pretty Persuasion" and "So. Central Rain (I'm Sorry)." Reckoning was the band's second album and it predated their mainstream success. However, the album was extremely popular with college radio stations and almost immediately reached number one on the airplay charts. The album was received well by critics and would help lay the groundwork for the band's future success. The Little America tour lasted 8 months and it was the first time the band played in Asia, with four shows in Japan.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large. Small repair near collar and fraying on the left sleeve if wearing, see pics.
