This sweet vintage shirt is a souvenir from the Doobie Brothers' Farewell Tour in 1982. The band was first founded in 1970, and although this tour was marketed as their last, the band did reunite and continue their legacy. In fact, 2020 marked five decades worth of the Doobie Brothers. The lineup of the band has changed multiple times over their extensive career, but the back of this tee has the signatures of the lineup for the 1982 tour, including Michael McDonald, Patrick Simmons, John McFee, Willie Weeks, Keith Knudsen, Chet McCracken, Bobby LaKind, and Cornelius Bumpus.

Prior to their reunion in 1987, the Doobies had become known for hits like "Listen to the Music", "Jesus is Just Alright", "Long Train Runnin'", "Black Water", "Takin' It to the Streets", and "What a Fool Believes". The group made the choice to disband in 1982, realizing that all of the founding members of the band had already departed, and their leader, McDonald, was ready to pursue a solo career instead. Several former members of the band made appearances during the Farewell Tour including Tiran Porter, Michael Hossack, John Hartman, and Tom Johnston.

The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small. Shirt comes with an original concert ticket from the tour, see pics.
