This sweet, raglan tee commemorates the rock band, the Doobie Brothers and their 1987 Reunion Tour. It features a large graphic of an eagle on the front of the tee.

The Doobie Brothers, sometimes called The Doobies, formed in the early 70s with founding members Tom Johnston, Patrick Simmons, Dave Shogren, and John Hartman. Other long-serving members included Micheal McDonald, John McFee, Tiran Porter, Michael Hossack, and Keith Knudsen. The band was known for their harmonies and their ability to make music across several genres, such as soft rock, pop, folk, and soul. The Doobies' career soared in the late 70s with the release of their 8th album, Minute by Minute, which won the Grammy for Record of the Year and included the track "What a Fool Believes" which won the Song of the Year award. The Doobie Brothers disbanded in early 80s once all of the original members had left the band.

The Doobies didn't intend to reform the band when they did. Knudsen persuaded the 3 of original 4 Doobies and several more members to join him for a benefit concert for the Vietnam Veterans Aid Foundation in 1987. The band quickly realized that tickets were in high demand and a 12-city tour commenced. The tour's third show, at LA's Hollywood Bowl, was reportedly the venue's fastest sell-out since the Beatles played there in the 60s. Because there were so many Doobie Brother alumni participating in the tour, the band was able to perform with a wide array of instrumentation that wasn't previously possible. The tour was so successful that the band produced an equally successful comeback album, Cycles, in 1989.
