This sweet shirt features the original party animal, Spuds Mackenzie cruising on a skateboard near a palm tree lined beach. For a brief period in the mid-to-late 80s, Spuds served as the mascot for Anheuser Busch's Bud Light brand of beer. Although the lovable canine mascot was male, he was played by a female bull terrier named Honey Tree Evil Eye, and for several years Spuds was the star of numerous colorful ads promoting Bud Light.

The dog later received some flack from parent groups that were concerned that Spuds was secretly a ploy to endear kids to the alcoholic beverage. However, not long after these accusations were made, Bud Light retired Spuds, as they felt his image was beginning to outshine the product.
