This sweet vintage jersey was made all the way back in the 1960s. This jersey advertises a super chicken fry at the Circle-Lex VFW Post 6583. VFW stands for Veterans of Foreign Wars, and it is an organization that allows for community between veterans that fought on foreign land. Post 6583 used to be open to veterans in the Circles Pines and Lexington areas of Minnesota. VFW Posts often host various community activities for their members, and they can also be booked for private events. Since its inception more than a hundred years ago, the VFW has strived to provide assistance and rehabilitation to veterans in need, and this shirt was made during a time when many VFW members would have included veterans of World War I and II.
