This 70s vintage tee features the legendary reggae musician and Rastafarian Bob Marley. The graphic features an image of Marley with the quote "Me love da feel, not da monee."
The early 1970s were formative years for Marley as both a musician and a Rasta. He converted to the religion around this time and found success with his band Bob Marley and the Wailers. The group gained international fame with the release of their albums Catch a Fire and Burnin' in 1973.
With songs like "Rasta" and "Rastaman Chant", Marley incorporated spirituality into his music which naturally turned him into a Rastafari icon. Songs like "One Love" and "Get Up Stand Up" give off universal good vibes and have been well received also.
In 1976, Marley survived an attempted assassination in his home country of Jamaica that prompted him to move to London. There, he recorded the album Exodus (1977) considered to be one of the best of all time. He was diagnosed with melanoma the same year and eventually passed from it in 1981. Fans across the globed mourned his loss, and a state funeral was held for him back home in Jamaica.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small.
