This awesome pocket tee has double sided graphics celebrating the legendary Chi Chi Club. This chain of clubs began with a location in Palm Springs and overtime it grew to include venues in Hollywood, Long Beach, Riverside, Belmont Shore, and finally Catalina Island, where this shirt hails from. The tee features images of the famous "Chi Chi Girl" who appeared in advertisements, on bar menus, and in paintings throughout the various club locations. Although he was never credited, the Chi Chi Girl was modeled after the art of velvet painter, Edgar Leeteg.

This shirt was made in the 70s, when the Chi Chi Club in Avalon still attracted Hollywood stars and lively crowds looking to dance the night away. With a history dating back to the 30s, the Chi Chi has long list of notable entertainers who are rumored to have graced the chain at some point in time. This includes guests like Pearl Bailey, Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis Jr., Peggy Lee, Eartha Kitt, Mae West, Sophie Tucker, and Louis Armstrong.

The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small.
