This vintage tee has a cool cartoon graphic of a rat enjoying a carton of milk, with the slogan "Make Mine Milk". For decades, the dairy industry has come up with a plethora of adverts to encourage milk consumption. Many of these campaigns were centered around the supposed health benefits of milk, and in the 1960s the American Dairy Association even sponsored the sitcom The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet, so they could use the show to encourage viewers to drink a glass of milk with every meal. This shirt is an interesting 70s find that was likely part of one of the Dairy Association's innumerable marketing campaigns.
