This sweet vintage shirt bears the emblem of the formative comic book superhero, Superman. This DC Comics hero made his debut all the way back in the late 1930s, and he's responsible for establishing many of the most common tropes of the superhero genre. This shirt is copyright 1977, which is just one year before the release of the live action Superman movie that starred Christopher Reeve as the titular character.

The movie also featured Margot Kidder as Lois Lane, Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor, and Marlon Brando as Superman's Kryptonian father, Jor-El. The movie was a huge critical and commercial success, that was praised in particular for its groundbreaking special effects. It also marked Reeve's first ever starring film role, and the unknown actor was chosen out of more than 200 hopeful applicants.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There is some light discoloration, see pics.
