This sweet shirt celebrates the 1985 37th annual Bonneville Nationals Speed Week and shows the words "The Winning Team"... The events were held on the salt flats outside of Silver State borders in West Wendover, Utah. The salt flats are perfect for speed races and reaching high speeds due to the flat, hard, and extensive surface and there the land speed record has been set and broken many times. The meaning of Speed Week is a set of speed trials, the goal not to beat others in a race but rather to reach the highest speeds. The event is organized by Southern California Timing Association and Bonneville Nationals Inc. This shirt is for the former race car driver Andy Granatelli, the Tune-Up Masters race team, who were one of the teams of the event that year.
