This 80s tee promotes the beloved fast food chain Burger King. This tee says "Chairman of the Board", and was made for the company's Triple Jump Checkers game. The game was a scratch off ticket style sweepstake, and it was one of the largest promotional campaigns launched in 1988. Winners had the chance to get small prizes like free drinks and fries or they could score major wins like a cruise, dream house or Pontiac Grand Prix. For years, Burger King has reigned as one of the biggest hamburger fast food chains in the nation, and in the 80s, they experimented with many ad campaigns and promotional efforts to stay on top of the competition.
